It's definitely interesting that all the intake valve lifters are "silver" and, except for the one in cylinder number 2, they are intact. The exhaust valve lifters, on the other hand, are all black (presumably hardened?) and have all started to show wear.
Schaut trotzdem alles recht gleichmäßig aus, bis eben auf Einlass 2. Zcylinder.

In my opinion, the problem existed even before the hexagon dilemma.
