You really messed up there.
Wild has a price list, including for installation. You came in second place. The A4 is even more expensive. It has a single-piece driving seat that almost completely covers the engine compartment. There are reasons for this design, but it's very poorly executed.
Yesterday, I spent a long time troubleshooting the clutch bleeding process on my 4F. Now that I've figured it out, it seems to be working reasonably well.
Since I've been driving these vehicles for a long time, I'm used to it. It's not like a Golf 3, but it drives much better.
It's always a revelation when I get back into my private car after a business trip.
If you want to see cars that aren't built to last, just look at Ford – they're junk from front to back. They wear out and become unusable even with minimal mileage. It's great that we have things like this at work.
However, this doesn't make what VAG achieves any better.
During the development process, errors are certainly corrected, even if this is only acknowledged in a rather indirect way.
What's lacking somewhere is a healthy dose of realism. This applies to both the difference between a prototype and mass production, as well as the stresses that a vehicle experiences in everyday customer use.
How else can solutions like the ones mentioned here be brought to market?
Perhaps the decision-making processes were flawed. Hopefully, things can be done differently now, with a bit of luck.
I also find it astonishing how often recalls are issued for seemingly trivial matters, and which defects end up being the responsibility of the customers.
It's probably not worth contacting the manufacturers. The emails will likely be handled by employees with a similar level of expertise as our new internal helpdesk. We have people who are supposed to be helping us, but I end up having to explain to them, as a "dumb user," how to correctly enter command-line parameters. Gruß Christian

Okay, the box is running again. Let's see if it has any further consequences, with or without additional damage.

So far, approximately 200 km have been driven, and the turbocharger and the rest of the engine show no abnormalities that indicate any consequential damage.

Great! It's good that the problem was noticed right at the beginning and the engine was turned off. NA,Gehörlose wie ich können auch Schrauben! Ihr HÖRT ich FÜHLE! Meanwhile, a friend of mine with an Audi A4 has also experienced the same problem. Although he claims to have only run the engine for a few meters and short test runs, his engine is now completely ruined.
The waves of the compensation wave module already show strong ripples.
I think it's quite a matter of luck whether you notice the lack of oil pressure quickly enough, because the oil pressure warning seems to only appear at engine speeds above 2000 rpm.

Here's an update on the engine issue: After approximately 4000 km since the repair, everything seems to be okay. There's no excessive oil consumption, and the vehicle is running normally. I would say we were lucky; the oil pressure warning came just in time.
Last Update: The car was sold with over 341,000 km on the odometer, and the engine and turbocharger were in excellent condition until the very end.

Hello everyone, I'm bringing this up again... I bought a B7 with the 2.0 TDI engine, and it received a new engine under warranty in 2012 due to an oil pump failure.
Does anyone know if they have managed to develop an improved module by this point? (According to the invoice, the part number of the installed module is 03g103295al); it should be possible after 6 years, shouldn't it?
