Okay,
With the help of TDI-GTI-4-Motion (thanks, Micha), I was finally able to get the side mirrors to automatically fold in when reversing. Apparently, the rain sensor and sunroof features are still not available for the B8 model.
Well, I'm quite satisfied now!
