Hello Ulf,

just for explanation:

The RWG voltage readings during the start-up check are practically completely independent of the position of the valve body on the pump housing.

Because in this process, only the relationship between the signal current of the interlocking system and the track circuit voltage is checked, as well as the track circuit voltage at the minimum and maximum limits.

Even if the rest of the pump were missing and only the bare MSW was connected to the cable, the check could still result in "OK".

Are you sure that the lower stop of the RWG (Rotary Wing Guidance) is not affected by shifting?

If not, then my installation instructions via MWB 19 are nonsense.

I have a feeling that the values in measurement block 19 might have changed during my data transfer operation...

Best regards, Rainer.

Hi Ulf!

How far should the measurement short circuit ring extend when the ignition is turned on?
I've observed that my child is only moving about 1/3 of the time!??

I also moved the measurement short-circuit ring, but it's stiff (which is normal).
Still the same, though.

Hi.

A stiff or sticking mechanism is not normal.
There should be only a very slight, easily overcome, spring force felt.

P.S. What would happen if pin 2 & 3 were to touch or short to ground??

IMO, this is likely a false error message, and the engine would shut down for safety reasons.

In my opinion, this could only be the case if the minimum travel limit were defined by the free travel path of the main slide (zero position).

I suspect icon_redface.gif, but that both mechanical stops are realized through a rotational angle limitation in the main spindle unit (MSW).
Because this would likely be better suited to absorb the "powerful" impacts during the signal box inspection than to transmit the force through the governor slide eccentric.

So far, I hadn't disassembled a pump before.

Hi!

I put in the effort and built the adapters, and also installed VAG-Com.
I just need a little more help understanding which blocks are particularly important and how they can potentially be modified.
I've already looked at some of the measurement blocks. In block 1, I noticed that the voltage of the control potentiometer is below the setpoint values, ranging from 1.25 to 1.75 V (but is sometimes between 0.68 V and occasionally 1 V).
The error code is still the same (G149).
After deleting, it also indicates that the connection should have an interruption. Perhaps that is the possible cause.

Hello Marko,

It has already been stated which measurement values and measurement value blocks you should review.
Please provide the text you would like me to translate from German to English. I will then provide the translation.

Regards, Rainer.

PS: The comment about the hairdryer... icon_mrgreen.gif You really should try to be more calm and read the posts carefully and answer them accurately, after all, your system has been out of order for several days, right?

Hi Rainer!

Yes, yes Rainer... icon_smile.gif
Die Hoffnung stirb zuletzt....... Problem solved!
The vehicle is running smoothly again, without any problems, and it's even performing better than before!
I should have listened to you and gotten the diagnostic tool.
Well, that's old news. I'm just glad everything is working the way it should again.
Many thanks again to you and Ulf!

Hi Rainer!

It was something I didn't want to believe: "The correct positioning of the metering device."
Previously, I could move it however I wanted without any stuttering!
Apparently, the left and right shifting of the dosing system had more to do with the jerking motion than I initially thought.
After some back and forth, it finally disappeared.
Thank God, I'm making the sign of the cross three times, and I think I still owe you something!
