That's exactly my problem. I would like to rule out everything that could be responsible before I start replacing parts.
Jörg.

Hello community,
My problem with the bus's instability has been resolved. The driver-side TSG was causing the issues.
Thank you very much to everyone who was involved in solving the problem.
Regards,
Jörg.

Thank you for the feedback! May I ask how you found the error and what's wrong with the door control unit? Or was it due to the microswitches or the door lock itself?

Best regards, Rainer.

Hello Rainer,
Of course, you can ask questions. The purpose of a forum is to report and describe resolved issues. I can't tell you exactly what was wrong with the TSG (Temperature Sensor Module). There were no visible signs of any problems externally (like water ingress or anything similar). I obtained the wiring diagram using erWin. Then, I removed fuses SC 12 (10A), SD 12 (10A), and SD 29 (30A). When I reinserted SD 12, everything was quiet. Inserting SC 12 immediately caused the problem to reappear. Removing SC 12 again and inserting SD 29 resulted in no further issues with the bus. Therefore, I suspected a faulty TSG on the driver's side and ordered a new (used) one. And sure enough, everything is now working as it should. The error messages in both TSGs, specifically "Thermoschutz aktiv" (thermal protection active), have also disappeared.
And all of this is only possible thanks to VCDS!
Best regards,
Jörg
