Hi there,
We need the target values for the injection start control, specifically the crank angle before/after top dead center (OT) and the duty cycle.
From the Fred https://community.dieselschrauber.org/en/viewtopic.php?t=25067&start=16, I understand that a 100% duty cycle for the motor corresponds to maximum retarded timing. Even with that, 7° after TDC (Top Dead Center) seems extremely late, which makes me question the ESP setting.

"I can rule out air bubbles. There's absolutely nothing visible in the transparent hose, and the rest of the seals and hoses are new. Besides, those wouldn't just disappear with 900 engine hours, would they? The pump is initially set to 2.0 bar before top dead center (BTDC) with a warm engine and at 100%. I adjusted it myself and checked it multiple times. I could still try adjusting the needle valve."
Hi there,
Actually, the start of injection cannot be later than in the default setting . Unless something is completely wrong with the default setting, for example, just a slightly closed valve here, or an incorrect setpoint value for some reason.
Take a look at the link in my last post.

When the engine is cold, everything seems fine. But it gets worse as the temperature increases. As I've said several times, above 900 RPM, the target and actual values are generally in sync. This can be seen clearly in my video. If I disconnect the throttle position sensor, it throws an error code, and the fixed injection timing is set to 0.0 degrees. However, the engine behavior doesn't change.
