Here are the status codes related to the BIP regulation that I was able to find:

0: OK.
2: BIP control after initialization; BIP acquisition remains active.
4: No measurement of brake input pressure (e.g., due to a very short injection time), but the brake input pressure measurement remains active.
6: Error detected during startup or KTF (Key Transfer Function) failure -> BIP control and BIP acquisition remain active.
7: Bi-directional control due to high speed.
8: Battery Isolation Protection (BIP) activated due to low battery voltage.
10: Battery protection system (BPS) activated due to excessively high battery voltage, or a fault in the battery voltage measurement.

14: Magnetic valve fault detected (e.g., short circuit) -> Emergency Stop control.
15: Errors detected in GDP recording -> GDP control.

Does KTF stand for "cooling temperature sensor"?
If that's the case, then it makes sense that I had a 6 at the beginning.
Since the G62 module was malfunctioning, it has now been replaced.

KTF stands for Kraftstofftemperaturfühler, which translates to fuel temperature sensor.

As I understand it, status 6 only occurs during startup. At this point, the battery voltage may be dropping or there might be air trapped in the PD elements, which prevents the BIP (Battery Impedance Protection) system from functioning correctly. Therefore, during this phase, the BIP is only activated and any BIP errors are suppressed.
