Hiho, I'd like to join in here

.
I have a Golf 3 with a 110HP engine (AFN engine) and I'm experiencing the exact same problem as the thread creator. Randomly, the car stops accelerating and there's a significant lack of power

. So, I read here in the forum and have already done the following:
-Lmm swapped.
- Solenoid valve replaced.
- Hoses inspected.
- Wiring checked.
'The error code read from the diagnostic system was: 'Intake manifold pressure regulation difference'.'
'and here, in the specialist articles, it states that it could have the following causes: '
Possible causes:
Faulty boost pressure control valve (N75).
Hoses connected incorrectly, not properly attached, leaking.
Air leak between the turbocharger and the engine (charge air path).
Turbocharger failure
Okay, I've ruled out everything except for a direct defect in the turbocharger itself. However, I'm wondering why the power loss only occurs sporadically? Or is this a sign that my turbocharger will completely fail in the next few weeks?
Best regards, Clyde.
P.S.: I took a plug from a device (I don't know the exact name) that can read the error memory of VW, Audi, etc., and I got the shareware version of VAG-COM, but I can't establish a connection on my laptop

because my laptop doesn't have a COM port. I then bought a COM-USB adapter, but unfortunately, it doesn't work with that either

. So, reading data while driving is not possible

. How do you do it? Or do you all have a USB cable?
