They only use silicone hoses in conjunction with aluminum pipes in racing. The question is, why don't they just use plastic pipes instead?
Besides the fact that their LLK is five times larger than ours.

@Ufl.
Get your car chipped to increase the boost pressure to 1.7 bar.
You have a warranty on the engine. I definitely wouldn't enter anything in the form.

I know what the motor can handle. icon_cool.gif
If it were my car, I would do it. Following the motto (it wouldn't be a motor if...).

Hmm, but what one can actually watch is really interesting. There are thoughts I've never had before, or ideas I've already been considering myself, such as installing an aluminum intake manifold all the way to the turbo (due to airflow).

Best regards, WarLord.

Here, I'm not concerned with performance (the torque limit is already at its lowest, so there's nothing to gain from cooler air), but rather with the effect, meaning, and usefulness of the aluminum intake manifold.

That the ASZ in the Polo seems a bit too "refined" to me (the AFN in the Golf subjectively feels somehow more robust), is another question... icon_confused.gif

Have I already mentioned that a 5-speed gearbox weighs approximately 8kg less than the 6-speed manual?

Aha, that explains 20% of the extra weight from the 100 to the 130 horsepower Polo icon_cool.gif.
