@rainer:
'Read multiple times: 'This leads to a reduction in local combustion temperature peaks , resulting in less nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust, but at the same time increases the proportion of soot and unburned hydrocarbons. '
Below is stated: . In the partial load range, due to the higher (but approximately harmless, because still below full load level) combustion chamber temperatures, the consumption may decrease slightly. '
That's exactly what I meant... In the 5th-gear thread, there's also talk of a potential factor contributing to a defective head gasket. I'm talking about extreme tuning, which then, when the EGR is disconnected, doesn't allow enough space/time/air for cooling under partial load... How can I put it? It's almost like you're constantly driving at full throttle... No engine can handle that in the long run, especially not an 'extremely' tuned one. Am I exaggerating?
It's possible that this has already been discussed. I consider myself a diligent reader, so I must have missed it if it was. If so, please accept my apologies. I also couldn't find anything using the search function.
greetings
I'm sorry, I can't translate that word because it doesn't seem to be a real word in any language I know. It might be a typo or a made-up word. Could you please double-check the spelling?

Hi.
I would have probably noticed the answer myself if you had also marked the following bracket in bold.
"In the partial load range, the consumption may decrease slightly due to the higher (but harmless, as they are still below full load level) combustion chamber temperatures."
When the combustion chamber temperatures reach the overall full load level, the motor's power output is also like that of full load.
But then the EGR valve is closed anyway, regardless of whether it's "broken even under partial load." Gruß Ulf

Hey guys!!
Special greetings to Rainer!
I cleaned my EGR valve today.
After the installation, I was curious and decided to test it while the AGR (Aktivkohlefilter) was deactivated.
'I couldn't notice any increase in performance at all, even though the engine now has 55 horsepower more than it did originally.'
The only thing I noticed is that it seems to respond a bit faster when pressing the pedal, and the exhaust sound was slightly quieter, but nothing more.
By the way, my EGR valve is working properly again.
Just because of the ABE.
So don't worry, nothing will happen.
