That would mean that with a maximum load capacity of 450 kg, on a vacation trip, for example, with 4 people on board (approximately 80 kg per person, including the driver), there would be almost no room left for luggage ?? |

Im Schein steht bei Ziffer 14 das Gewicht der nackten Basisversion (für die jeweilige Motorisierung) incl. Driver inside.
Under "Remarks," you often find a note like "refer to item 14: up to xy kg, depending on equipment." The difference from item 14 represents the equipment range, which is optional extra weight from the factory. For example, on a Polo, this could easily add up to 165 kg.
In addition, there may be custom additions such as a sound system, oversized rims with wide tires, etc.
All of this not only prolongs the delivery time (DZR time), but also reduces the usable payload, because the maximum weight is the same for all configurations and ultimately depends only on the engine type.
The DZR technical article mentions some typical sizes and weights of individual components, which can be used to estimate the additional weight of your vehicle compared to the value specified in section 14.
