No one denies that a CAN drive is not used in conjunction with the ASV, but it is obviously different with other types of engines.
I'm sorry, but if you look at the entire thread again, it's exactly what we're discussing here, and what legolas09 ultimately denied.
I haven't claimed anything else.
However, what needs to be said is that the arguments presented by Jochen were not consistent. Whether it's due to misinformation or a lack of knowledge, it's irrelevant here. If I'm going to argue a point, I should know what I'm talking about, or I shouldn't say anything at all.
This is simply incorrect information, as I have already stated, and it's not based on any real knowledge. I am perfectly aware of where I can find the detailed route maps for all VAG vehicles.
Everyone makes mistakes, and I'm no exception. However, making baseless claims is not a way to present yourself as competent or to gain friends.
If you present it this way, I'd be happy to pass the ball back to you.
Since you run the OBD section, you should be familiar with the CAN bus, as you are positioned here as an expert (and rightfully so!).

Jochen_145 wrote the following::
The CAN bus can more accurately be described as a 'passive' communication system, meaning it's not a 'question and answer' type of interaction.
You are mistaken here. The diagnosis runs on a separate CAN diagnostic bus (except for Audi A4 (8E)). This bus is chronically inactive until the diagnostic device initiates communication. Then, and only then, data can be found on this bus, but even this data is only available upon explicit request, not as a general 'broadcast.'
You've demonstrated a lack of complete knowledge here. The fundamentals of CAN communication should be well-known. And CCP or XCP are commonly used in vehicles today.
@ legolas09:
My Leon receives information about speed, engine RPM, etc., in a 'classic' way via analog cables. These cables even extend to the Raido (presumably a specific component or system). -> That's why I compare my Leon more to a Golf 3 than a Golf 4.'
All things considered, I would say that in the heat of the moment, a few people who thought they were knowledgeable about their area reached the limits of their understanding. As you can see, there's always someone who knows even more.
Everyone got their fair share.
Okay, let's close this thread now and continue the discussion constructively and peacefully.
Considering that a valuable exchange of information has ultimately taken place here, I think:
Next time, I'd like to order again.
In this sense
