Hello,
Today was a good day for my car.
After "Freundliche1" (Friendly Service/Company 1) was unable to perform an update on Tuesday of this week, I went to "Freundliche2" (Friendly Service/Company 2) today.
There, the mechanic immediately understood, after I described my problems, that this vehicle needed an update.
The version the mechanic was familiar with was version 9888, released by Audi on October 1, 2007.
He couldn't do anything with version 9950 and suggested I try software version 9888 instead. He said that if the problem persists or I am still unsatisfied, I should contact him again.
Then the vehicle was connected to the diagnostic system, and the update was installed.
Result:
I can finally drive into my garage without needing to rev the engine to 2200 RPM.
The power delivery is much smoother and more consistent across the entire RPM range. Now it's also possible to drive below 2000 RPM without the whole car shaking.
Most recently, I created another log for the same route as "log new1".
Current log "After update9888" with the new software.
I will also perform a power measurement with KPower as soon as I can.
Thank you very much to everyone.
Best regards,
Christian
P.S.: I will post updates if there is any new information.
To top it off, the enemy team has also found an update.
