hi,
Well, what does "normal" mean? I don't know any other way . The LMM is brand new, an original part from BOSCH/SEAT, so it probably isn't the problem.
The idea of using a central connector is good... it should also be included in the wiring diagram if a connection point is installed.

Okay,
Okay, so I've now removed the 5 connectors, cut off the first 4 cm of cable (since there was enough slack), crimped on new connectors, and assembled everything together.
It appears that the ASV (presumably a vehicle component) no longer uses a central connector. As far as I can see, the cables disappear directly into the main wiring harness leading to the engine control unit (ECU) without any intermediate connectors.
The previous entry contained an error, as is usually the case.
G70 - Implausible signal - intermittent.
G70 - Connection interrupted.
"The error memory has been cleared, and I took it for a test drive. I have to say, I didn't trust my car anymore... Suddenly, the sluggish acceleration that it always had was gone. Starting usually required a light touch on the gas pedal (or almost stalling), and from what I could feel, I would estimate a 5-10% increase in power (or now back to its rated output)."
It seems the problem was due to a broken cable in the first few centimeters. Now the error memory is empty after driving 20 kilometers; I'm curious to see if that fixed it.
If so, the repair, which cost €1.40 for the four connector pins, was a complete success.
Edit: I'd also be interested to know if the car goes into "emergency mode" when it receives an implausible G70 signal. Because if that's the case, I must have been driving in emergency mode for weeks, with the error message constantly displayed... but I didn't notice anything; I didn't realize that it was only running like "60 horsepower" or something, it still pulled normally, just not quite as well as it does now.

The joy lasted only for a moment...
Yesterday, I noticed that the engine accelerates very unevenly between 1500 and 2000 RPM, or it "stutters" when I rev it up in neutral.
Typo again:
G70 - Signal implausible; interrupted.
I'm starting to get fed up with my car. Today, as a last resort, I'm going to run new wires. If that doesn't fix it, I'm pretty much at a loss.
Do you have any more tips, especially regarding the behavior at 1500 RPM? The power output is still normal, as is the fuel consumption, and there's no black smoke.

Okay,
Here's today's update: I rewired everything again. Since I'm currently dismantling a wiring harness, I was able to do it neatly this time using the original wire colors.
So far, the error log is empty and the LAM (Lambda Measurement) log file looks fine... let's hope it stays that way.

Concluding remarks:
"All cables have been replaced, and for the past few hundred kilometers, there has been no activity in the error log. Therefore, the fault has been identified, and the case can be closed."
Thank you to everyone who participated.

Thank you for the feedback . It's interesting that it was due to the cable! Actually, that rarely happens! Perhaps there is a break or something similar in an inaccessible location.
I'm glad they found the error! I find it strange that your car didn't go into emergency mode. NA,Gehörlose wie ich können auch Schrauben! Ihr HÖRT ich FÜHLE! To avoid letting this awful mistake ruin the victory of proper disposal, I would now tackle those old cables.
Force at least 10 amps through each wire and check where it becomes noticeably warm or starts to overheat (you may want to slightly move the tested cable), because that's exactly where the problem is . Gruß Ulf

"Ulf, running a cable with 10A to try and pinpoint the exact location of a fault is risky because you could damage adjacent cables (used for other functions) if you're unlucky! I once had to replace several nearby cables because of a single burnt-out cable; the insulation was also damaged, causing it to come into contact with other wires. It's a real pain to separate the burnt cables from the healthy ones." NA,Gehörlose wie ich können auch Schrauben! Ihr HÖRT ich FÜHLE! hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I forgot about the cables. They're bundled together in a thick cable bunch and everything is stuck together.
It was too much trouble to separate them, so I used heat shrink tubing over the connectors, tied them together, and tucked them away inside the cable duct. Then, I simply ran new wires from the engine control unit (ECU) to the mass airflow sensor (MAF) inside a protective conduit, and it looks like the original setup...
Based on my troubleshooting process (replacing one connection at a time), it appears that terminal -15- is the culprit; specifically, the red/yellow wire, which provides the power supply voltage.

Oh, what I forgot to mention yesterday:
Interestingly, driving with a disconnected mass airflow sensor (MAF) produced different error codes. In this case, the error message was "Short circuit to ground / Line break." However, if there was a cable break, the error message would be "Mass airflow sensor signal implausible," sometimes described as "sporadic," and eventually "interrupted."
That would explain why it was actually just the broken ignition power wire... because the engine control unit (ECU) probably monitors the mass airflow sensor (MAF) for resistance, and would immediately detect the missing MAF when it's disconnected.

I'm going crazy... the error is in there again today...
Quote: | 1 Error found:
16485 - Air mass sensor (G70) - implausible signal.
P0101 - 35-10 - - - Interrupted.
Readiness: N/A |
What else can I do?
Here's a summary for those who don't want to read everything from start to finish:
- Cable replaced.
- The LMM (likely referring to a mass airflow sensor) is new and genuine from Bosch.
And who can explain this error code to me? It used to say "sporadic" for a while, which means intermittent. Now it's happening again every 10-30 kilometers...
If I strictly follow the error code, it indicates a short circuit to ground (which in plain terms means: no voltage is present, or?). Alternatively, it could be a faulty G70 module (which can be ruled out since it was tested with two different mass airflow sensors).
So, it looks like the problem might be with the terminal "-15-" again, right?
