Then I checked again in Block 4, field 2 (specified start) and 3 (actual start):
In "Basic settings," both values are at 8° (!!!???) (the 004/4 ColdStartValve is at 55%), while in "measuring" (i.e., corrected), the values are 0.1° and 1.7°.

Block 004/2und/3 increase in temperature ("measuring") during operation, reaching up to 15° at 4400 RPM (synchronously). The cold start valve 004/4 increases from 3.1% (idle) to 80% (maximum value of 95% at 3800 RPM).

I'm assuming that all of this is within the acceptable range... (except for those 8 degrees).
Besides the fact that the high RPMs with the engine cover open were quite loud, everything sounds as it should. While looking at the data table, I noticed that I apparently usually only rev up to about 2500 RPM (icon_smile.gif
Starting is excellent (even without the glow plug system - I had the fuse removed to save power while reading the diagnostic codes and forgot to put it back in). No smoke, etc.
A little more torque would be nice (icon_smile.gif

Does anyone happen to have a logging sample for comparison (1z)? Besides wanting to see what it looks like when everything is working correctly, I'm currently trying to figure out what the control unit is trying to tell me by analyzing the data it's sending.
z.B. (Block001/3 modified pistol display (should be 1.35V-2.10V -- is 1.45V (low), driving: 0.72V to 3.8V))
or Block 008 Injection Quantities (LL: -/2:0 mg/R -/3: 27.8 mg/R -/4: 24.2 mg/R, with all values increasing to up to 36 mg/R during operation), etc.
