ALH is, as far as I know, a newer generation than AHU.
Since the combustion process is constantly being refined, the combustion chamber geometry, swirl, etc., are also being modified in various ways, and the spray pattern of the injectors is adjusted accordingly.
In short: While the nozzles might physically fit into the "wrong" engine, the engine will likely run with them, but the combustion process will no longer be as intended by the developers.
This essentially voids the vehicle's operating license (even if it doesn't receive any additional power!).
