I am a new member, and I am having problems with my car. I cannot access the central locking system (ZV) using VAG-COM without a login code, and now I am asking you for help? I'm sorry for my German, I'm from Slovenia, please forgive me!

On the A8 (4D), this is only possible via #35.

Before I continue, let me clarify upfront: a login has nothing to do with this!

The next questions would then be:

1. Which interface (manufacturer/retailer)?
2. What VAG-COM version (version number)?
3. Can I reach other control units?

1. I can't access #35 address, but I need a login code to make any changes.

- I am using the professional system HEX-USB+CAN (USB) from Rainer Kaufmann.
- VAG-COM version 504.1
- I can access all the control units, but I cannot perform adaptation without a login code.
For the motor, a valid login code is 11463, but for the central locking system, it is invalid.

11463 is not _any_ login, that is the GRA activation code.

Are you really sure about what you're doing?

Say goodbye to the idea that login codes can do everything; that's simply wrong. The Login/Encoding-II function is necessary for numerous stories, but not in the way many think, i.e., to activate "dead" (grayed out) buttons.

If the vehicle is locked, no confirmation will be received via flashing lights or horn.

When opening, a confirmation is given by blinking 3 times.

I need a solution, I want it like this:

- When the light flashes 3 times and the horn sounds.
- When opened, it blinks 1x

How should I do this? I've already tried almost everything!

No, even with the Passat, no login code is required for customization.

Besides, an A8 is not a Passat.

Your current encoding is determined by:

+00002 - Warning light when DWA is activated
+00008 - Activate the Theft Alarm System (DWA)
+00064 - Comfort locking/unlocking via remote control
+00256 - Rear Door Logic (DWA)
+00512 - Warning flash when closing via remote control
+04096 - Warning light when opening via remote control
+08192 - Activate remote control

Therefore, the functions you requested are, in principle, already active.
Activating the horn is not possible with this model.
Additionally, the number of blink cycles cannot be changed.

The conclusion would be that there is an error somewhere, for example, Door contacts.
