A4 8E2/8E5 - Possible various error memory messages (Solution)

Error:

Vehicle is jerking, has no power, limp mode, no acceleration.
Also häufige Fehler 00777 - Gas pedal position sensor - implausible signal

Cause:

Damaged/broken lid of the E-box in the front left water tank.
This allows water to enter and potentially come into contact with some terminals.

Test:
Remove wiper arm brackets, remove windshield cowl.
Remove the E-Box, making sure ALL screws are securely tightened.
If the lid is open, check the surrounding seal for dents and ensure it is not sticking.
Inspect for damage, such as warping, cracks, and breaks.

Remedy:
Replace the lid AND screws, verschandeln contacts if necessary, and replace them.
