After my air conditioning system stopped cooling and only started heating, I removed the servo motor for the main valve. Since it was working, I reinstalled it, and the air conditioning worked again for two days. Then, I adjusted the servo motors using VAG-COM. However, I am now seeing the following error codes, and the air conditioning is constantly heating again.

5 faults found:
00600 - Potentiometer on positioning motor for temperature flap (G92).
09:00 - Adaptation limit surpassed.
01271 - Positioning motor for temperature flap (V68).
41-10 - Blocked or No Voltage - Intermittent.
00601 - Potentiometer on positioning motor for central flap (G112).
09:00 - Adaptation limit surpassed.
01272 - Positioning motor for the center flap (Volvo V70).
41-00 - Blocked or No Voltage
00603 - Footwell/defroster flap positioning motor (V85)
41-10 - Blocked or No Voltage - Intermittent.
Is this really all gone?
Do servo motors sometimes malfunction intermittently?
I am also unable to establish communication with the climate control unit; I cannot synchronize the baud rate.
Are there any specific VCDS settings for communicating with the climate control unit in the C4?
A few ideas and information would be appreciated.

If the vehicle is constantly heating up, then the stepper motor for the temperature flap is likely broken.
That's the one on the left side of the expansion tank. Remove the wiper linkage, then unscrew the plastic cover (next to the heat exchanger hoses). Underneath that is the motor for the temperature flap.
It's possible that it might work again intermittently once it's reassembled.
Just delete the remaining error codes, set it back to the default setting 'oo1', and read the fault codes again. If the errors reappear, then those components are likely faulty. However, if the flaps are working correctly, I wouldn't replace the other motors (they aren't exactly cheap). The TEP flap motor is most noticeable when it malfunctions because it tends to get stuck in the 'heating' position. I can't say anything about using Vag-com.
I don't actually use it.

Thank you for the tip. It seems my stepper motor also broke yesterday. Through the control panel, I could read that the position is stuck at a value of 137 (which is still moderately warm given these temperatures). Even with the basic settings using VAG-COM, it wouldn't move. This morning, I took a look under the hood and didn't know where this motor was located. Now, with your description, I will try to find it.

Okay, it's working again now. I repaired the stepper motor. Inside the housing are a few gears, a potentiometer, and something like a toy electric motor, but at least it has external brushes. The brushes were quite dirty, but not worn out at all. I cleaned everything with contact spray, and now it's running again. Oh yes, the initial adjustment at the end using VAG-COM. It took about 2 hours total, including everything.
