Dynamic Maintenance Intervals Explained

Hello,

I would like to learn more about the dynamic maintenance intervals of VAG vehicles.
What measurement parameters are being used, and in which channels is what data being stored, etc.?
Can anyone help me out?

If you're feeling a bit more awake (*yawn*), try using the /search.php feature just for testing. You can find channels and information there . So, don't be too tired, and then proceed with enthusiasm.

If you can't find anything, try looking for "LL" (Longlife) products.

So, then you really should try being a bit more creative when searching. You can find everything there, from the results of oil analyses to the influence of engine oil temperature for estimating operating conditions, and taking into account brake wear, and so on.
Okay, wake up and start searching!

"What does 'ihr' mean?" Everyone is pointing him to the search function. He says he can't find anything. I suggested he try using a different search term, "to be a little more creative" with his wording.

I already understood, in a general sense, how the LL interval works.

Where and how these measurement parameters are stored, and how they can be modified if necessary, is a question that is already quite well-defined, but unfortunately, the SEARCH FUNCTION does not provide an answer (unfortunately).

The articles contain some information about the WIV reset.
If you change the current values in the oil wear counter, remaining life, and remaining mileage fields, you might get what you want...

So, whoever can read definitely has an advantage...

...and changing the channels between service visits doesn't achieve anything! Only resetting the device and then re-coding it makes a difference. Therefore, it's not possible to deliberately modify the values.
