ARL: Set Start Date for Grants.

Hello,
Today, I tried to optimize the fuel injection start timing on my Golf ARL, model year 2002. I was attempting to adjust the VAG base setting from 000 to approximately 120.
I previously had a similar experience (AJM) and it worked out great.
So, I loosened the three screws on the timing gear and rotated it in the early direction. I then checked the values using a VAG diagnostic tool, but unfortunately, no matter how much I rotated it, the value on the tool didn't change (it remained at 131).
The start date for the funding has been changed, but I can't find the new value in the master data or in the default settings.
Values only change in relation to temperature.
I used some old blueprints to help me, and I reassembled everything.
Who can explain this to me???
