Hello,

I got a demo version of VAG-COM and I want to...
Let's just make a change to add some feeling.
to get involved in the matter. I have selected the following for this purpose.
The central locking system!!! I would like to set up that...
The control valve closes after the system has reached its operating pressure. Of course, I don't want anything.
'I'm going to break something and I'm asking here first!'

Is there a guide for that?

Thank you.
Olli.

Small tip: Check the error database (2. Page ) under 'Central locking system adjustment options' or something like that...

Hi,

'Thank you.' I've looked at everything, but I'm still unsure.
Not quite so sure!!!
1. Will this also work on my Seat Leon, manufactured in 2002?
2. Is this also 'Olli-Sicher'?

Hello,

The data from Audi (usually encoded using control unit codes) is not the same as the data from VW (usually encoded using adaptation channels).
As you may already know, SEAT is concerned about... The technology is closer to Volkswagen than to Audi.
Therefore, you should try the Volkswagen approach.

If you don't have enough experience and knowledge yet, you should probably spend some more time browsing this forum before you start trying things out.

That is not correct!!
My LEON is (almost) an A3, and SEAT is a subsidiary of AUDI.
SKODA is a subsidiary of VW!

AUDI - SEAT - Lamborghini
VW - SKODA - Bentley
This is what the corporate structure looks like!

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hello,

Unfortunately, the corporate structure (which, by the way, hasn't been in this form for very long) is not reflected in your engine control unit (ECU) coding.

Okay, clear statement.

Does that mean I can use the VW data?

Hi Olli,

It doesn't necessarily work for every car. For example, in the Ibiza 6K, it doesn't work with either the VW or Audi codes to access the central locking module, because, according to Michael II, it's not connected to the K-bus. Someone already asked about the Leon in the auto-intern forum, but as far as I know, it didn't lead to any results.

Do you actually see the ZV module with VAGCOM?

Otherwise, I agree with Michael; almost everything else about the Ibiza is very VW-like.

Best regards,

Jan.

Okay, so I've tried it all out now!
Michael is right - VW works.

And Rainer is, of course, also right.

TRY AND SEE! (or TRY AND FIND OUT!)

/Happy one
IT WORKS.
