Cause:
For Audi A3 vehicles with 2 doors and standard seats (Q1A) or sport seats (Q1D) – in combination with side airbags and seat heating and/or electric lumbar support – within the affected vehicle identification number ranges, there is a possibility that when folding down the rear seat backrest, the...
The easy entry function of the cable harness located beneath the seat frame may be damaged, leading to a short circuit.


Procedure:
For all affected vehicles, the cable routing beneath the front seat frames must be corrected by securing each cable with an additional cable tie.

Cable ties, 2 pieces, product number N 020 902 2.
Motherboard, serial number N 023 003 8.
