Polo 9N3: EDC16 ECU Compatibility?

First of all, my sincere respect for the vast amount of information that is compiled here!
I have a question: Does anyone here know if this applies to the Polo 9N3 (i.e., the facelift version)?
Does the EDC16 system already come standard in certain engines, or is it only used in the V10 TDI and the TDI models in vehicles like the Golf 5/Touran, etc.?

That's interesting. Is the EDC17 planned, or is it already at the production stage and being manufactured?
Even though it's more of a question that requires guesswork, is there a way...?
Determine what it is based on the VW/Audi part number.
I had already contacted Ulf, and he mentioned that the part numbers likely changed significantly. I checked this out but didn't find anything unusual based on the part number lists.
