PDE 038 130 073 Al vs. 038 130 073 BA

Hello.

I can get a PDE (presumably a part number) with the code 038 130 073 BA, even though I have 038 130 073 AL in it. Does anyone know if this is possible? What are the differences between them?
The salesperson said that she had installed BA units in AR systems multiple times before and hadn't experienced any problems.
It's a company that reconditions engines. I don't know how accurate that statement is.
