Hi,
I'm having the following problem: When I lock the car with the remote, all the doors close. However, the turn signals don't blink. Only on the second or third press of the button.
I know I'm supposed to use the search function. I have done so, and I'm supposed to look for "broken traces" or "cold solder joints" for the following error. However, since my control unit (46) is reporting four errors, I hope someone might be able to immediately say: "Yes, those are the microswitches on the driver's door, or something similar."
Okay, here's the transcript:
Address 46
-------------------------------------------------------
Control unit: 1J0 959 799 AH
Component: 33 Central SG Comfort Unit 0001.
Encoding: 04097
Shop #: WSC 05311
4 errors found:
00928 - Door lock module for central locking, driver's side (F220)
27-00 - implausible signal.
00912 - Front left window switch (E40)
27-10 - implausible signal - interrupted.
00913 - Window switch for front right window: Driver's side (E81).
27-10 - implausible signal - interrupted.
00944 - Passenger side mirror heating (Z5)
35-00 - -
Thank you in advance for your replies.
And best regards from the "Ruhr area".
Bernd.

Hi,
If so many things are happening at the same time with the driver's door, it probably sounds like a broken cable.
What happens if you delete the codes?
Will they come back?
- all of them, immediately.
- sequentially
- one after the other
- in sequence
- sometime, but then all at once.
At the very least, the first and last behaviors strongly suggest a cable break.

Are you having any problems with the interior lighting? Does the interior lighting sometimes turn off even when the door is open or in another unusual state?

So,
I haven't had any problems with the interior lighting. I've already cleared the error messages. Whenever I turn the ignition on and off, the error related to the heated mirrors reappears immediately.
The error.
00928 - Door lock module for central locking, driver's side (F220)
27-00 - implausible signal.
It happens when I lock and unlock the car using the remote control or the key.
The others haven't returned yet. But I remember that the power window for the driver's side door made a strange noise for a short time a while ago.
Okay, so, cleaning the microswitches in the door lock and resoldering the contacts?

That's where I'd start, because it's free and microswitches are often the culprit.

That's exactly what I would do too. Pay particular attention to properly soldering the connections of pins 7 and 8 (photo), and possibly add a jumper wire.
Most often, contact 7 (at the connector housing) is the cause. This also provides a ground connection for the other three microswitches.
