hello,
My car is a Volkswagen Golf 3 TDI with 90 horsepower and engine code 1Z.
I'm having the following problem: I noticed today that there's some oil leaking from one of the thick hoses that leads to the intercooler, specifically at the hose clamp where the rigid plastic pipe connects to the rubber hose. The oil is then dripping from the hose clamp onto the EGR valve/throttle body.
I don't think it's particularly pleasant when oil starts leaking out, right? What could be leaking or defective? I hope it's not the turbocharger.

Tonight, I can post a picture of the thick hose where it's leaking. I'm not sure if I've explained myself clearly. Maybe someone already knows what I'm talking about.

You're welcome.

martin

Use the search function and don't worry if it's moderate; that's perfectly normal.
