VAG COM 607: Quick Question

Hello, I think my question is quite simple to answer.
If I have a "Key-Com Interface" (ORIGINAL for 607), can I also use the older VAG versions that are available for free download?
Can I also use the "VAGDASH" program with it?
What if a newer version comes out, like VAG-COM 7...?
Maybe someone can help me... Thank you.

Yes, it should work fine with version 409.1 or later. I've never tried it with older versions.
The activation process depends on the distributor version (it must be the same as the one used with the 607.3 semi-/professional system), and English versions are always activated.

No, that has nothing to do with it; the program uses its own dongle adapter.

Keep the newsletter option enabled in the shop, and you'll receive a newsletter. Download and install it from your customer account, and you're ready to go.

May I ask the reason?
