Fresh air blowers without function

Hello everyone,

I'm experiencing the following problem with my Passat B3, built in 1998, 1.9 TDI 81 kW (+), AFN engine.

Klimacompressor is defective. Unfortunately, the fresh air fan is also no longer working (very bad in this weather). VAG COM provides the following error description:

01273 - Fresh Air Blowers (V2)

Error can be deleted, fan runs briefly and then shuts off with the same error message.

Is there a way to get the fresh air blower running again,
except for a complete repair of the air conditioning system.
Don't waste time constantly wiping the fogged-up window while driving.
