Hello everyone!

'Does anyone know where I can order a pressure suit at a reasonable price?'
On EBAY, there isn't really much available, and even when there is, they only ship to Germany. icon_cry.gif

Hello,

Please use the search function and search for 'boost gauge'.
There are alternatives to the traditional pressure gauge...
Regards,

Eike.

A pressure gauge is not an option for me due to installation reasons, so I need an electronic solution (probably with an LCD display).
'I didn't really want to open up the control unit and tap into the pressure sensor. Now I'm looking for a suitable sensor. Conrad has several pressure sensors available, including differential pressure versions. However, these sensors have a significant drawback: their pressure range is only slightly above 1 bar. The range should be at least 1.5-1.6 bar, or even a bit more. Do you have any tips on where I can find suitable sensors? I don't really want to go to the dealership and pay a fortune for something.'

Let's start the search function; we've discussed this before, and we even found sensors specifically for that purpose. I remember posting a list about it, but I can't recall when. They weren't extremely expensive, though.

Check out reichelt.de for pressure sensors; I think they have them (or just search here).

Best regards,

Jan.

Hi,

Take a look over there.
/viewtopic.php?t=618&highlight=panelmeter

If you're really looking for something 'cheap' but functional: get a 0-4 bar pressure gauge from heating system accessories. It costs 4.35 euros at Obi. However, it looks awful and, of course, is not illuminated. I've used this solution for troubleshooting with a universal adapter.

Best regards, Rainer.

@rainer

I was already familiar with that thread. Your information about the voltage divider will definitely be useful to me! Thank you for the instructions and the tip!
I think the suggestion with the heating manometer is great icon_lol.gif, but unfortunately, for me, it's only really useful for troubleshooting. Otherwise, I prefer digital ones, mainly because of the installation problems with the display!

@jan6k
Thank you for the tip about Reichelt. The sensors are indeed quite affordable compared to other providers. I browsed the internet today and found sensors ranging from about €75 to around €1000 for 2.5 bar and 4 bar versions! I was already planning to put this problem aside, but I'm reconsidering it because I can get a 4 1/2-digit LCD display quite cheaply. Let's see if Reichelt can deliver quickly. That will be the project for next weekend! I have a completely free weekend then! icon_cool.gif
