Hello,
Can someone tell me the pinout for the 8-pin WFS-STG?
I connected it like this once:
Pin 1 --> Constant 12V positive power supply.
Connect pin 2 (ignition positive, circuit 15) on the MSG to pin 38.
Pin 3, nothing.
Connect pin 4 and pin 5 to ground (MSG pin 24).
Pin 7 on MSG, pin 61.
Connect pin 8 on the diagnostic connector to the pin where the gr/ws wire from MSG pin 61 was previously connected.
Now VAG-COM is showing an error (interface or K-line etc. is defective, or similar).
What's wrong?
If I disconnect the K-line from the WFS-STG and connect it directly from the MSG to the diagnostic connector, I can normally read the engine data.
Thank you for your help.
Best regards, Frebert. 1,9 l AFN mit Schick Wasser LLK im T3

Does anyone really know anything about this??
Could it be that I connected the part correctly, but my MSG is not compatible with a 2nd generation WFS? (I assume this because my WFS control unit has 8 poles!)
MSG is from a 1996 Ford Galaxy and is a GN. 1,9 l AFN mit Schick Wasser LLK im T3

I once looked at a 44 kW 6N.
T6/1 is class 15.
T6/2 is W.
T6/3 is T1x at the distribution panel, self-diagnosis (above the relay panel).
T6/4 and T6/6 mass.
T3/1-3 Reading coil, immobilizer. Gruß

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, but that would be completely different from my current schedule!
And what do you understand by "W"?

"In the plan, the interior light is referred to as 'W'..."
However, in my opinion, it doesn't really make sense, which is why I didn't comment on it further. Gruß

In some plans, the internal K-line is referred to as 'W'.

Okay, I just got a 6-pin WFS control unit! This one actually works!
Apparently, my MSG doesn't support 2nd generation WFS . 1,9 l AFN mit Schick Wasser LLK im T3
