V6 TDI AKE: Adjust injection timing with VAG-COM

I'm new here and I've also tried using the search function repeatedly, but unfortunately without success.

I replaced the timing belt and camshafts on my Audi (AKE, 132 kW), and then, after the work was completed, I initially attached the timing belt pulley to the center position on the timing belt pulley (as determined by measurement).

The engine is running smoothly, requires less diesel, so far, so good.

Now, as a conscientious amateur mechanic, I naturally also want to correctly set the injection start time. Fortunately, I have a VAG-COM version 409-1 available for this purpose.

1. Problem: With this version, only TDI Graph 1.3 runs, and it doesn't have my MKB (Marketplace) available.

2. In the table "Troubleshooting with VAG-COM", which I downloaded here, the target values in the measurement block 4 for the AKE- engine only show empty fields.

Who of the professionals can briefly and understandably explain how to adjust the injection start time using this block (there is no injection start time graph for my TDI engine)?

The following works: In MWBl. 4, after switching to the basic state, there is a transition between late and early, with late being displayed as 0.5 grd and early as 12grd.

In normal mode, the target value increases from early to late as the speed increases (shouldn't this be reversed?). The "is" value remains at 12 degrees before OT and does not change at all.
If the vehicle was not running properly, one should suspect a complete misconfiguration here.

Die Einstellung des dynamischen Einspritzbeginns beim V6 TDI wird erst seit VAG-COM 607 bzw. TDI-Graph 1.4 unterstützt. Generell ist die Einstellung beim V6 TDI jedoch so einfach das man eigentlich kein TDI-Graph benötigt.

Aktuelle VAG-COM Versionen geben dazu folgendes an...

Sollwert (spät): 0.0...4.0 °n.OT
Sollwert (früh): mind. 12.0 °v.OT

habe es heute geschafft, auf 1,8...2 nach OT einzustellen (ist ein bisschen fummelig am zusammengebauten Auto) , am Fahrvehalten merke ich erstmal nix.
Danach eine Probefahrt mit MWBl. 4 geloggt und alles o.k.

Das VAG COM 4.9-1 erkennt wahrscheinlich die korrekte Temp. beim AKE nicht, so daß der TDI- graph auch bei "80grd" nicht anspringt.

Wenn ich einmal blau werde, dann stelle ich hier eine Anleitung zum Nockenwellentausch ein, ist eigentlich kein Problem.

Nö, wie dir ggf. aufgefallen ist findet beim V6 TDI die Grundeinstellung nicht in MWB 000 sondern MWB 004 statt. Hinzu kommt das keine reinen Dezimalwerte ausgewertet werden sondern direkt Werte mit Einheiten. Sprich weder VAG-COM noch TDI-Graph waren darauf ausgerichtet damit umzugehen, VAG-COM nicht weil es die Daten nicht weiterreichen und TDIGraph nicht weil es mit den Daten nichts anfangen konnte.

Manchmal sind Softwareupdates halt doch 'ne tolle Sache.

Hmm,

ich habe die Grundeinstellung im MWB 004 gemacht, hat auch funktioniert.

Der Graph lies sich im MWB000 aufrufen (wie im VAG COM Handbuch beschrieben) und hat auch die gelben Linien dargstellt. Da muss ja eine Datenübertragung stattgefunden haben.

Jedoch kam laufend die Meldung "engine not warm enough" bei gleichzeitiger Anzeige von unveränderten 73,6 grd Wassertemperatur, obwohl ich schon auf 80grd=heiss gestellt hatte und der Motor bestimmt 90 grd hatte.
Die einzige Meldung lautete nur immer, daß ich das Gaspedal in Ruhe lassen soll, so ich dieses bedient habe.

Wie dem auch sei, habe heute gerade ca. 600 km mit dem Fahrzeug zurückgelegt, läuft einwandfrei und ich bin zufrieden.

Die Software nebst Laptop habe ich schon zurückgegeben, so daß ich den MWB 005 nicht mehr probieren kann kann.
