As promised, here's a log of the readings from sensor blocks 8 and 10 of my ASV (Autonomous Surface Vehicle), software version 3357:
The Excel file displays all the log data that I collected at various points during the measurement runs.
Here, I was accelerating up two steep mountains in the third gear, exceeding 4000 rpm.
The 'acceleration_straight' reading shows a typical acceleration in 3rd gear on a flat surface.
Remarkable:
The longer it takes for the engine to reach over 4000 rpm, the lower the air mass becomes. On a steep hill where acceleration takes longer than 20 seconds, it can even drop below 800 mg/h!
In my previous acceleration tests, I haven't achieved a gradient below 820 mg/h.
Therefore, there is no clearly linear relationship between boost pressure, engine speed, and air mass, which would actually be expected.
Either the LLM is not measuring the air mass accurately because the high air demand causes warmer air to be drawn in from the engine compartment, or there is some kind of 'storage effect' in the intake manifold that releases a larger amount of air mass over time.
I believe in the first point more.
