Can I use the diagnostic adapter and VAGCom from Rainer, with which I read out my old 1.9 TDI AFN in the Ibiza 6K?
Also, does the new (already icon_smile.gif Ibiza ST 1.6TDI (I think engine code CAYC (or CLNA??)) also work?

PS: I haven't found the connector yet, so I don't know if it fits mechanically.
If so, however, the question remains whether connecting a possibly outdated adapter could damage something!

Which version or adapter is being used exactly? Since it's unlikely that you purchased a HEX+CAN system specifically for the 6K, you will probably need to upgrade.
