Fuel Injection Limit / Torque Optimization

Hello everyone,

Why is the fuel injection limit so significantly below the driver's desired performance, or what driving parameters does this value depend on (see diagram)? I'm particularly surprised by the decreasing trend. Can anyone explain this?

How does the engine control unit (ECU) actually determine the torque (using a sensor or pre-calculated values from other driving parameters)?

The torque limitation is not based on the actual torque in each specific case, but rather on a standard profile that ensures the motor and powertrain are not overloaded.

Perhaps a term like "maximum load capacity under optimal conditions" would be more accurate.

The slight downward slope might have something to do with exhaust temperatures or something like that...??
