I wanted to use a flow rate calculator to calculate my performance. Do I need to drive at 2000 RPM for a while first, and then accelerate with a 'moment of silence,' or can I give it gas earlier and start timing from 2000 RPM? |

Hi,
Yes, that would be highly recommended. You can start applying gas around 1500 RPM, and then stop the stopwatch at 2000 RPM. For me, it's approximately 7.02 to 7.8 seconds. Yes, it depends on the engine's mood and condition. Passat Variant 205/50-15, 1Z |

Hi.
Tim is right because the DZR (Dynamic Resonance Value) is based on the maximum torque curve.
And that level will only be reached when the turbocharger's boost pressure is properly regulated, meaning the initial "turbo lag" phase is already over.
Therefore, apply the accelerator between 1200 and 1500 rpm, and release it between 2000 and 4000 rpm. Gruß Ulf
