Has anyone ever tried this?
I'd like to know what benefits it offers...

Best regards: Marko

This discussion has already happened here before, in July/August.

'I've been using Slick50 for about 110,000 kilometers. I have the impression that the car runs smoother. I don't notice any fuel savings of 15%, but if what they say about the Teflon film is true and works, then I think the wear is already significantly reduced or will be.'

Following the motto: 'It doesn't help, but it also doesn't hurt!'

Hi,

Okay, so I've used SLICK 50 in all of my cars (after the initial break-in period). I can only tell a fairytale about reduced fuel consumption; the most I've seen is about 0.5 liters per 100 km, and that was with my father's old WK diesel engine. That's the only positive thing I can say about this product.
I cannot report any negative experiences. Even my rally-prepared Jetta, which is heavily stressed (maximum 7200 RPM with the stock engine block), has not experienced any problems. Whether this is due to the additive or not, I cannot (and do not want to) prove.

My conclusion:
"Anyone who has to pay the normal retail price for it should carefully consider whether or not they want to put such a product into their engine. In Germany, the importer charges around €65 per liter, while in the US it's about $20 per liter!"
