1.9 TDI PD Glow Plugs: Replacement & Info

Okay, since the 1.9 TDI engine has glow plugs that heat up the coolant starting at 5°C, I have a few questions about that.

How many watts does each one have?

2. Can I reprogram the engine control module (ECM) using the diagnostic connector to make it start heating at an intake air temperature of around 10°C? If so, how?

The wattage, which represents the power consumption, is temperature-dependent.
When cold, with a resistance of approximately 0.1 ohms, these devices initially draw roughly 1.5 kW each.

As far as I know, they are still consuming around 150-200 watts each.

Reprogramming is not possible with the AFN model, and it's likely the same for all other models as well.

Then I'll inquire further to see if it might be possible to reprogram it after all.
If it doesn't work, I can still give them a good jolt with an external voltage .
