Hello,
I'm experiencing a problem with my 2.5 TDI, BDG, with 164,000 km.
During a routine check with VAGCo, I discovered that the static injection start is indicated too early, approximately 3° before Top Dead Center (TDC).
I informed the mechanic about this during the service, requesting that the static injection start be corrected (if I had known that this could also be done with minimal adjustments, without having to bring the vehicle to service position, I would have done it myself).
After picking up the car, I noticed that it now hesitates more noticeably when accelerating and that it accelerates more poorly in the lower speed range (up to 3000 rpm), and is fine in the upper speed range. gcom now correctly set the static starting point at 2° n.OT.
I then temporarily shifted the starting point back to the original, earlier value by turning the ESP wheel, but this only resulted in slight improvement. I have now set the value to 0°, which is at the upper tolerance limit.
The values for the dynamic injection start follow the target values.
Could it be that the workshop adjusted the setting by changing it in the software, rather than by turning the ESP drive wheel, as I expected? This may also have caused the values to be shifted internally when the injection timing was dynamically changed.
Before I go back to the workshop, I would appreciate any tips.
Thank you in advance. |
