Does anyone here know how to remove the potentiometer arm from the very old MSW potentiometer?

I tried it on a broken one. But it fits very TIGHT!
It looks like he's simply pressed against the wave. Maybe due to a temperature change!

I am grateful for any advice. icon_smile.gif

Yes, it seems that's the case, so I left it and got a new MSW }.

Are you talking about a VP37 MSW?

Man muss es nicht brauchen, aber man muss es haben!

Are you now talking about a VP37 MSW?

If so, I carefully gripped it with pliers and pulled it off... It's more stable than it looks.

Ja korrekt VP37 MSW ! Aber der alten mit Poti drin. Not HDK!

The MSW test is broken now! The potentiometer arm is broken. I've tried so much. Most recently, the plastic part of the potentiometer arm broke. And now, the metal part is still attached to the shaft.
And it's so stuck. I can't get it unstuck from the wave.
I can turn it, but it won't start.

That's a pain. Maybe it's easier to convert the car to an HDK MSW system. Use the wiring harness and control unit from a 1Z model, and of course, an HDK MSW unit!

Has anyone tried something like this before?
