Hello first icon_smile.gif

habe einen 02er Ford Focus TDDI 90PS letzte Woche gekauft und vermutlich wars "die Katze im Sack"........ icon_sad.gif

After driving for a few kilometers, I noticed that the car wasn't accelerating properly.

Now I was reading.

Value / P0235
Component / Turbocharger boost pressure sensor - Circuit.

Is this a known defect, and where is the sensor located?

When I took the car in for a diagnostic check, I told the mechanic to please take a look underneath it, as I had noticed an oil leak on the rain-soaked street yesterday. The car had been parked for two days, and you could clearly see the oil film.

On the lift, you can clearly see that oil is being sprayed by the wind all the way to the middle of the car. It's not possible to tell where the oil is coming from. The mechanic suggested an engine wash might help, but I think that carries risks. Does anyone have any ideas about what it could be, or how I should proceed? Returning it isn't an option because it was a private purchase icon_sad.gif.[/quote]

What's the risk that you'll discover the oil is from a very undesirable source and that you've bought junk?
I'm sorry, I don't quite understand your statement. It's not like anyone is going to aim a pressure washer at all the connectors.

Unfortunately, I can't say anything specific about the error message, except that it could be related to either the boost pressure sensor, its wiring, or the turbocharger (including a stuck or defective control system).

Best regards, Rainer.

The right-angled "turbo hose" is completely torn, and there's oil leaking all around it over a large area.

Der rechtwinklige "Turboschlauch" ist komplett gerissen und in einem grossen Radius um diesen alles verölt.

That would be a lucky mistake... = Lucky break!

I'm just wondering how the engine can leak so much oil despite having a faulty turbo hose.

Even the inside of the hood is sprayed with paint.

Sometimes it really comes out strongly there, which is why that happens.

Could it be that the torn hose also caused this error when reading the fault memory, or is the turbocharger pressure sensor definitely defective?

Okay, let's fix the obvious things first!
