TDI Performance Issues: Causes for 101HP Engines

Hello!

My Fabia TD with 101 hp has had less acceleration from the start compared to other Fabias. Also, the turbo engagement at 1900 rpm doesn't feel as strong as in other 101 TDI models I've driven; it builds up gradually without a noticeable 'turbo lag,' but the power delivery isn't as forceful. The mass airflow sensor (MAF) has been replaced twice with no success. There are no error codes stored in the diagnostic system. However, the top speed seems to be okay (with a sufficiently long run-up). I don't use biodiesel. Mileage: 25,000 km. What other causes could there be? What 'tips' can I give my workshop for narrowing down the problem? Also noticeable is short, uneven engine running after cold starts below 0°C, which the workshop considered 'normal.' How much does a dyno test cost, and where can I have it performed in Austria?

What is an ATD? What exactly is the difference?

AXR has a D4 rating, which means that the ATD is only rated as D3 and therefore benefits from tax advantages.
Furthermore, the AXR engine has other features such as different timing chain components that are designed to put less stress on the timing belt drive, a water-cooled EGR system, and a different turbocharger, etc.

Unfortunately, I can't offer much information about ATD engines. However, my AXR engine exhibited similar behavior until it was modified by VW (see the error database). The turbo lag also disappeared, and the low-speed acceleration issue has become less pronounced.
