Vito Seat Adjustment Problem: Troubleshooting Guide

Hello, I am 185cm tall, and I'm really having trouble adjusting the seat of the Vito so that I feel comfortable.

... if I adjust the seat too far back, the backrest is too upright and presses against the back of the seat.
If I adjust the backrest properly, I find myself sitting too far forward, making it difficult to properly reach the pedals.

Does anyone have experience with this, or know of a solution? I'm stuck here, feeling like a monkey on a grindstone...

Completely separate the driver's cab and extend it by 10 cm, shorten the pedals or modify the rear wall .

Okay, just kidding. Why don't you ask Mercedes-Benz if they might have a narrower cushion for the backrest?

... I'll probably try removing the plastic cover behind the seat soon; maybe that will free up a few more centimeters.

If Mercedes-Benz doesn't have what you're looking for, don't hesitate to visit one or two upholstery shops.

You might also want to inquire about other seat options in the accessories section; however, there probably won't be a wide selection available for the Vito.
