Lupo Doku 6X1 MJ 2002: Heated Windows, No Radio (Solution)

Heated exterior mirrors on both the left and right sides are not functioning.

Cause:
Installation of a faulty wiring harness.

Solution:
In the event of a defect, please retrofit the adapter cable with part number 6E0 971 067 B. It is installed as follows:
Before working on the electrical system, disconnect the battery ground cable.
Remove the trim panel located in the footwell on both the left and right sides of the A-pillar.
Disconnect the T10e connectors (black) from the coupling station on the left and right sides of the A-pillar, located at the bottom.
Press the pin in chamber 10 (brown wire) and insert it into the connector housing. Then, plug the adapter wire into chamber 1.
Insert the adapter cable (with the wider pin) into connector T10e (black), chamber 1.
Insert the adapter cable (narrow pin) into chamber 10 of the T10e connector (black).
Secure the adapter cable to the existing cable harness using electrical tape.
Reattach the T10e connectors (black) to the coupling station on the left and right sides of the A-pillar, near the bottom.
Install the trim panel in the footwell on the left and right sides, near the A-pillar.
Check the mirror function, adjustment, and heating.
