Door/Door Covering and Control Panel Noises

Cause:
In some vehicles, clicking or creaking noises may occur if the lock is forced onto the key cylinder. These sounds can be heard in the B/A column, the door panel, or the control panel.

Solution:
Check with the door handle, after removing the door latch, to see if the noise occurs during driving. If the noise is no longer present, the door latch must be replaced. The door must be re-adjusted. If the noise is still audible after this, the door seal must be checked. Replace if necessary.
