Hello everyone, and hello to all the experienced mechanics.

Since I'm new here, I'd like to express my huge respect for the expertise that this forum possesses.
I hope I'm not bringing the overall quality icon_smile.gif down with my contribution...

I had my Audi A3 8P 2.0 TDI 16V 103kW chipped. The first visit to the tuner was successful. According to the file that was flashed, the result is 185 horsepower / 385 Nm of torque.
"The chip has been flashed, and I took it for a test drive. I could definitely feel a difference. However, dyno testing is only possible at the main headquarters. And there are so many different opinions about it that I decided to skip that adjustment. Well, the person who flashed the chip suggested that I drive it for a week and see if the tuning becomes extremely noticeable on the roads I'm familiar with. After a week, I went back to him to make some adjustments. I felt like it wasn't quite 385 Nm. He performed the adjustment without any problems, and of course, it was free of charge. Now I have a little more power. This weekend, I did about 10 test measurements using VAG COM."
and this resulted in the attached result. Measurements taken from MSG block 005 and 006.

I also have diagrams available.

Question 1:
Is this a somewhat usable value? The values are all quite close together.

Question 2: Isn't that a bit "too much"? I'm not one of those people who constantly accelerate and brake.

Of course, I also adhere to all the warm-up regulations, etc.

What are your thoughts on the result? Thank you for your warm welcome.
Alex.

Well, regarding your first post, I can only say that you probably didn't read the forum rules. Offering support for chip tuning from provider XY on a website of a different provider... well.

Hello,

It's my fault. Sorry. I don't want any judgments about my modifications.
I just wanted to gather your experiences with performance measurement using VAG COM.
Sure, here's the translation:

"Regarding that, please disregard the somewhat lengthy introduction."

Okay, so I'll ask again, without all the unnecessary fluff. What are your experiences with performance measurement using VAG COM? Is it relatively comparable to a dynamometer (rolling road)?
Absolutely not comparable? This is new territory for me.

What do you think the new power output is for this engine? Is it still reasonably durable?
or is it already borderline? If this question violates the rules, please let me know.
Do not respond to that.

Thank you very much.
Alex.

absolutely not comparable? It's completely new territory for me.

"This has happened 100 times already: the operator must ensure that there are no holes in the head of either the stationary test stand or the KPower unit where air can be drawn in."
In addition to KPower, it is also important to choose the measurement range appropriately. Depending on the control unit, this results in a measurement accuracy of approximately 5%.

Best regards, Rainer.
