Error Code 65535: Troubleshooting Guide

Error code 65... is a software error triggered by voltage spikes.
Irreversible.
The control unit can then only be updated with new software.

Then it's probably best not to have it repaired and just buy a used one instead.
You can find the new part number from VW, and if it is indeed the airbag part, I can look up the number for you. The problems no longer occur with this part. I paid 60 euros for one on eBay, and -> It's absolutely great!

Am I understanding correctly? Is the problem not related to the engine control unit?
But it's the airbag control unit!!!!!!!

The MSG is already being repaired, and it should be finished by Wednesday. Let's see what they write in the inspection report.
