BMA (100kW) for VW Passat 3C?

'Can anyone tell me if the Passat 3C (manufactured in 11/2006) was offered with the BMA engine in Germany, or if it might be a vehicle originally intended for the EU market?'

BMA is a common engine without a DPF. Euro 4. It was/is also offered in Germany.
