How do you tighten the axle nut correctly without a torque wrench?

300 nautical miles, then turn 180 degrees, then another 50 nautical miles.

But what is this mess? Why make it so complicated?

Even if I were to buy a torque wrench now, wouldn't 50 Nm be a joke for an axle nut, or do you not think so?

Well, that makes sense.
Let's start with a deposit of 300 million.
Then turn it up.
Then, with moderate preload, tighten to 50 Nm. This depends on the designed bearing clearance. Others are tightened very securely.
Opel Vivaro, rear axle, tightening torque: 240 Nm.

Rotate 45 degrees further.

The Steffarn version is for models with a 12-point nut. Could the other one be for the version with an Allen screw?

Yes, the screws are tightened with different torque values than the nuts.
