Is it possible for a power box to distort the power consumption display?

Does a power box or '10 Cent Tuning' affect the fuel consumption reading (on-board computer), or does it remain unchanged?

I just reread it. In what dimensions does the distortion occur? Is it just 0.2 to 0.3, or significantly more? Or can it be said that when the power output is increased by 20%, the amount of fuel injected also increases by 20%?

I don't believe that an increase in performance of, for example, 20% would necessarily result in an increase in consumption of 20%. I consider the values you mentioned (0,...) to be more likely.
Unfortunately, I don't have a power consumption meter myself, so I can't say with 100% certainty...

Hi.

In the upper performance range, the increased fuel consumption is even higher than the increased fuel quantity, because very long injection times reduce the engine's efficiency.

Generally, the actual fuel consumption will increase to the extent that more diesel fuel is injected than intended by the EDC (Electronic Diesel Control).
Since the onboard computer calculates based on the intended amounts and doesn't detect the deviation, the MFA (Multifunction Display) also indicates a quantity that is too low by the same amount.
